ECG McMillan Warragul Library

The McMillan library, which is located at Warragul, provides valuable information services and resources to students, staff and members of the Gippsland community.

The collection comprises a large range of up-to-date books, journals, videos, CD’s and DVD’s covering all aspects of agriculture, horticulture, natural resource management, dairy management, the equine industry, workplace communication, small business management, marketing and personnel management.

Library Catalogue
This lists all items held in McMillan Library.
When searching, complete as many of the spaces as you can, however usually one or more keywords is sufficient. Search by title only if you know the exact title.
From the ‘Search Results’ screen, click on the title for more information on the item. Click under ‘available’ to check the item’s availability.
When the title details are displayed, please disregard the ‘reserve’ and ‘booking’ links.

Borrowing – Students and staff:
A registration form, available at the loans desk, by post or email must be completed before borrowing.
If you wish to request an item from the catalogue, note the full title, author and call number.
Submit the request to the librarian in person, by phone, mail, fax or email.
If students or staff based at Leongatha are unable to borrow in person, delivery of requested items may be possible.

Borrowing period:

  • Books, videos, CD’s & DVD’s – 14 days
  • Journals – Overnight
  • Reserve – Overnight
  • Reference – Not for loan

Maximum Number of Items:

  • Students 8 items
  • Staff 15 items

Borrowing - Community:
All members of the community, who are not students or staff, are welcome to use the library during opening hours for reference or private study.

Library borrowing is also available however a small membership fee applies. For further details, fees, borrowing conditions or any other enquiries, visit the library during opening hours.
